CoVid Protocol Help...
Office of 5. Boss' son just tested positive for CoVid today. Boss just left the office. Boss will come in and out of workers offices and talk to them from the door way unmasked.
Do the office workers now have to quarantine or only if boss tests positive?

Curious why 48 hours? Boss could test positive 5 days from now, no? Isn't incubation 2-14 days?

I think "10 minutes of close contact" is considered exposure for quarantine purposes, so it doesn't sound like you would need to

Tests positive or has symptoms in the next 48 hours.
It's 48 hours as they weren't exposed directly to the positive person. For quarantine purposes, they only look back 2 days.
Also - at the office door I would think that's more than 6ft away - so the protocol is less than 6ft for more than 10 minutes.

You are contact of a contact so no issue for you. If your boss becomes positive, you have to quarantine if he was in 6 feet of you for more than 10 minutes, mask or no mask.
