Buying Concert Tix
If you were buying tickets to a concert (at Jones Beach), for 6 people, would you rather have all 6 in the same row, or 3 in one row and another 3 directly behind those 3?
Not sure if it makes a difference, but this is for a group that not everyone knows each other, but everyone going knows at least a couple of people in the group (and a couple of people know everyone in the group)

I never really thought about it but I think I'd do three and then three behind those.

To promote talking among the group, it's probably better to have 3 and 3. But, I could see that the two people who know each other want to sit with two other people, but now only one of them fit. So, to play it safe, I would do 6 in one row.

I would do 3 and 3 especially if they are aisle seats involved.

Re: Buying Concert Tix
I have done both. If not everyone knows everyone and they really wouldn’t be talking to each other you are fine doing it all in the row.
If you think everyone wants to talk to each other then do front and back.

I feel like it is actually easier to have a conversation of 6 people in a row than 3 people having to turn around.
