Grandchildren in wills
I’m not 100% sure, but if the will leaves something to someone who then dies,and doesn’t mention anything else, I THINK it would go to the deceased person’s estate- and then to his heirs

I would have the will rewritten and any inheritance that your parents want to leave him should be put in a trust and distributions should be made at milestones like a wedding or birthday or birth of a child. Something like that.

It depends on the laws in the state in which the will was written. In some cases it will be split amongst the remaining beneficiaries. That's why it's important to have a lawyer draw up the will, so that you have it written in the language that specifies exactly how you want your estate handled.
