1-2cm dilated and 80% effaced. What do we think? BTDT c'mon in!
So today was my 39w appt. I'm 39w3d. Last week I was finger tip and 70% today 1-2cm and 80%. Do we think I'm going to go into labor on my own?? Please share your experiences.
Plan is Biophysical Profile on Thursday and if all looks good, hanging out til Monday.

I was the same as you at 39 weeks with DC#1 & stayed that way until 41 weeks & then I was induced. I loved being induced.. crazy, I know but I had a quick & smooth delivery.

I don't know, but I hope that you do!  With ds1 I was 0cm & 0% effaced one day, my water broke the next day & I had him the day after so I subscribe to the belief that you just never know what's gonna happen!  Good luck!

Due date is Friday.
I know ultimately, you never know. But the waiting is killing me. So I'd like to hear some stories.

I was 1-2 and 100% when my water broke.....I needed pitocin to move it along so I think you could be there for awhile.....hopefully not!

It could go either way, unfortunately. I was 1-2cm at my 38 week appointment and delivered on my due date. A friend of mine was 38 weeks and nothing going on a Tuesday and delivered on Thursday. I wish there was a straight answer. The anticipation is torture, I know!

I was 2-3cm and 50% at 38 weeks. I didn't go into labor until the day before my due date. So you just never know. I think it's a good sign though!

My dr said the only thing worth trying is sex. He said even walking, I could walk til I'm blue in the face. It's not proven to move things along. So I called DH and said that we're having sex tonight. I don't care if he needs to go get a Viagra from somewhere, I'm raping him.

OMG u are too much!!! after my internal I had today, I don't want ANYTHING else in there!!! She was nuts, said she was trying to bring something on lol
