10 month old drinking less formula/breastmilk?
In the past 2 weeks, my almost 10 month old DD has been drinking alot less formula. Usually on days I work, she breastfeeds in the morning, gets two 6 oz. bottles of formula, and then breastfeeds at night. This is in addition to 3 meals a day and sometimes snack. Lately she hasn't been finishing the formula, sometimes only drinking 3-4 ounces of the bottle. It seems like she isn't interested so much anymore b/c after she pushes the bottle away, she would eat regular food if offered. Is this ok at this age? Should I cut back on her table food? Her ped had said we could start concentrating more on food now rather than liquids since she hasn't been gaining too much weight the past few months, but I always thought the breastmilk/formula was the most important until 1 year. Just wondering if this is typical at this age.

Around this age, DD dropped from 4 8oz bottles to 3. DD also compensated by increasing her solid intake.

Re: 10 month old drinking less formula/breastmilk?
DD has been doing this as well. She used to get a 6 oz bottle in the morning, 8 oz in the afternoon and 6 oz at night. Lately she's only been drinking about 4 oz out of her bottles. I definitely think it has to do with the addition of more table food. DD is also 10 months.

DS will be 8 months next week & I called the Ped 2 weeks ago bc he was doing the same as you described. He use to drink 5 7oz bottles & now the only bottle he will finish is his nighttime one. Otherwise, he leaves anywhere from 2-4 ounces behind. My ped said as long as he got 18-20 oz a day in combo with his meals, he was AOK
