11 yr old dogs & accidents

we have two 11 yr old dogs. the male is just a jerk and lifts his leg sometimes inside the house... but the female always lets us know when she has to go out.. but two times in the past couple weeks she has just peed right where she was laying by accident.. has anyone's older dog done this? does this mean she is getting toward the end of her life? it worries me because a dog my ex and i had years ago would start pooping right where he was laying and it got so bad we had to have him put to sleep. i dont want my girl to go anywhere anytime soon.... she is very healthy otherwise.

While it could be old age it could also be a UTI---maybe have her checked for that? Good luck! :)

My female only does that when she has a UTI or crystals in her urine. Take her to the vet. Not sure about why your male might do that, if he was trained properly before he started the leg lifting in the house.

thanks so much! i did not even think about a UTI. the male dog, like i said is just a spoiled jerk sometimes.. but i will get them both checked just in case.
