12 WEEK sono (NT) ...what to expect
Have mine tonight. Just wondering what to expect, and how long it is.

12 month sono - that's going to be a huge baby!!!! Babies are usually born after only 9 months. 
In the NT scan, they check to make sure everything looks good just like any other scan. The "NT" part is that they measure the fold on the back of the baby's neck. Certain larger folds can be indicative of problems.

I have mine this afternoon! They just check the fluid behind baby's neck and draw blood. It's all for Downs.

12 WEEK sono (NT) ...what to expect
Make sure you call and ask if they want your bladder full. When I called LIJ (my doctor's office doesn't do them) they told me that I don't need a full bladder...apparently I got the wrong info because the tech said that my bladder should be full. LO wasn't cooperating and I had to leave and go drink 3 cups of water to fill my bladder and then they would take me again to do the scan. We were there for about 2.5 hours because of this.

They didnt mention anything about a full bladder. I will try not to go before -- which will be hard since i go every hour at least
