17 weeks and pulled a muscle?? Update. Upate date#2
When I lay down or sit I don't have any pain I feel fine but I think I pulled a muscle or aggravated a ligament. When I walk, or get up, or change position in bed it hurts. The pain on on my right side in my lower pelvic area, and radiates down into my Vag, this all started on Friday when I was out all day, and its been on and off, but last night was the worse. Im gonna call me Dr soon, I hope they will see me. Im suppose to work tomorrow.
Update: My Doctors office just called me, the nurse was very sweet, and said it was most likely a muscle strain, but they will let me come in for a sono to reassure me that it was nothing, given my history. So im wondering if they can tell me the sex by now, might as well make a good thing out of it.
Update2 Sp, the baby is doing great, but my cervix is slightly opened and i am on strict bedrest. I pray it doesnt get worse, and i really need your prayers. I cant believe i am going threw this again. Ive just been hysterical, and they thing i can do it get up and go to the bathroom. Please pray for me and my little one. I got back on Monday to make sure it hasnt progressed. And possibly a cerclage.

Re: 17 weeks and pulled a muscle??
I'm 12 weeks 5 days and I think I did the samething. I'm sick with the flu and I think with all the coughing, sneezing and TMI- throwing up I might of pulled something but it hurts when I lay down to. I have an appt at 4 to see my ob to make sure everything is ok I would put in a call to your dr it can't hurt. Take it easy and feel better!!!

okay sweety - first things first....
you are in CONTROL this time. YOU KNOW something is wrong - this is NOT going to happen again.
You will GET the cerclage and CONFIRM that you will be okay!!!!

Oh! I am so sorry this is happening! But like Jess said, YOU KNOW ABOUT IT!!! You are on bedrest and will go back and be monitored very closely. that is half the battle. you are one step ahead this time.
Also, I know you are a RN and you know i know how we work. I am not saying that if you are a RN you cant work when pregnant, but, I dont think that the activity we do on a daily basis helps any problems that might be brewing. I am not saying it caused it, just dont think it helps but any means.
I am going thru this myself right now but for a different reason- the hematoma.
So please, listen to the dr (I know you will) and take at easy. Stay in bed and only think of your little one!!!!
Everything is going to be fine this time!
