Mostly amazon then when I found something that seemed good i'd google it.

The vest with the attached pants you posted at the bottom of pg. 1 doesn't seem good for young toddlers. Read the reviews on One Step Ahead... seems like it rides up to their chin and pushes them forward so their face goes in the water. I read this alot about swim vests.

The second sweater float was from somewhere different.

We tried something just like that too, same thing....didn't stay upright. I think most of the stuff posted is for a heavier/older child that has some stability in the water.

ugh, he's never going swimming this summer Chat Icon maybe the floaties ARE the best. You are in Florida, so you'll be hitting the pool WAY before us, so def. let us know. Joey is only 23lbs, I think he's going to be stuck in a float still this summer.

Hah! Well, we haven't been using anything lately and it's too tiring having to hold her so tight the whole time so we'll try the floaties. They seem much less bulky than the regular plastic ones. I figured for $12 total it can't hurt to try them, esp since the reviews are really good and the rec age is 1-3. They should be coming early next week and we'll try them on the following weekend and i'll post how it went.

Yes, please let us know how they are, Jess. Like others said, the water wings scare me - doesn't seem like enoughChat Icon

I'll let you know... i'm sure it'll be better than what we use now which is nothing!! Gripping on to her for dear life in the pool gets tiring.

I'm with you there!Chat Icon

I plan to fatten up Colin so we can get him the puddle jumper. He is about 28lbs - he will be on a fatty diet for the next month ;)

That hole for the neck looks tiny! And it's a life vest not a swim vest, may not be that comfy in the water for long periods of time.
