1st birthday planning date.. wwyd?
So ds's birthday falls on friday before easter and when trying to plan his party I right away thought i'd do it saturday the following week because of easter.. turns out that date is booked... would you do it the saturday day before easter or just do it the sunday the week after? Basically I guess the question is... would you feel annoyed going to a party the day before easter? I'm really ok with either day.

It wouldn't bother me to go to a party on Easter weekend. We were actually supposed to go to my niece's 1st b-day party in Rhode Island that weekend and I was excited because it meant that we'd be able to see everyone for Easter. They changed the date to the following weekend. I think either date would be fine.

I think the day before Easter is fine. It wouldn't bother me at all.

I wouldn't be annoyed at all. Unfortunately we'd have to miss it though because we usually travel OOS to see the ILs for the weekend. If a lot of people do the same you might have a lot of people that can't come

my twins have the same birthday!!
i wouldn't mind going to a party the day before easter..
but i decided not to do their party that day because i didn't want a bunch of NO's.
so i booked the following saturday.
i know you said saturday was booked for you, i think i would just go for sunday!

We're going to a first b-day party the day before Easter...it's fine with us. The only potential issue I see with the date for you is if you have people who go OOT for the holiday that you'd want at the party-- if there's no issue with that, then you're fine.

my DS has the same b-day. we are actually doing his b-day a week before b/c we have a lot of OOT but if u have a lot of people come locally i would just do it the sat b4 Easter.
