1st family vacation - input please!
We are looking to take DD on vacation the end of August. She will be 12 months old.
We are thinking to drive to Sesame Place, stay there for a night or 2 and then drive to Ocean City, MD for a few days.
Do you recommend Sesame Place for a 12 month old - are many of the rides appropriate for her age?
Also, has anyone been to Ocean City? We've never been and would appreciate any recommendations....

I'm sure you will hear all kinds of things... but check out their website. They have the ages for all rides/attractions.
We decided against going there with our 11 month old. Not enough for him for the $$ (plus, he doesn't know sesame street at all).

I would just go to ocean city. I've never been, but heard great things. I think DD will be too young to really appreciate sesame place. We went to Florida when DD was 13 months. We spent most of the time at our hotel by the pool. We went to Disney for 1 day, and she totally preferred the hotel. She had the most fun at Disney playing with a pole.

check out Ocean City NJ - espcially if you want to do sesame it will be closer than MD.

I wold go straight to Ocean City, MD. Your DD wont appreciate Sesame Place yet (I have a 12 month old in August too )
You'll be able to enjoy the pool, beach, boardwalk, etc.
