1st IUI question

I tested this morning and it came back negative- but based on all i know about my cycles i tested again tonight when i got home b/c i really felt today had to be the day- well tonight it was positive. i called and they scheduled me for an IUI tomorrow morning. They did not tell me much so i am nervous. Can you get a neg and then a positive?? i tried it twice tonight and both are positive. also-just wondering if your husbands go with you or just produce at home and you bring it. Thanks for the help!!!

When you say positive, do you mean a / LH Surge?

If that's the case, DH can produce in the sterile container they give you at home. You then have an hour or less to get it to the RE. They "wash" it, prepare it, and then tell you to come back a little while later for the IUI. Your DH can also produce there at the RE if he is comfortable, or if they have a suitable place for it.... be careful, some of the places don't and it's just in a bathroom-

i never used a opk i always triggered but yes u can def get a negative then a positive

my husband came with me and did the deed in the office...i know some drop it iff but we were going from queens to long island and u have a hour to get it there

any iui question let us know

Can't help with the OPK part because if that was a class I would have definitely failed. But the sample I have done both ways. DH produced at home both times but the second time I brought it with me alone. He only came the first time.
