Hello,
I went for another sono today. The bleeding is now mostly just brown spotting. Anyway, all 3 fetuses are measuring about the same with strong heartbeats. He also said that it looked like the identicals shared a sac, which is not a good thing.
I will be going back to ob/gyn on Monday for one more sono before going to the high risk specialist on Tuesday. She will lay out all of my options.
I have so many mixed emotions. I still feel like I can't even be excited about this pregnancy, after waiting so long for it to happen, since I don't know what is going to happen.

Well, the sono showed no change. I have 3 growing fetuses with good heartbeats. The bad news is that it looks like the identicals are in the same sac.
I am going to my ob/gyn one more time on Monday to check on things, and if no change, then I'm off to see the specialist in NYC. This is my worst nigthmare coming true. I'm really scared that since the two identicals are in the same sac, that I might end up losing both of them. Or worse, all of them.
Thanks again to everyone for your support and prayers. I'll keep you guys up to date after the appointments.

There is a girl on here that had monoamniotic twins I think-she posts on the multiples board--let me see if I can figure out who it is

I just did a search and found the post about the monoamniotic twins. According to the string, a lot of the woman didn't see the separation until 10-12 weeks, so maybe I'll finally catch a break. The specialist probably has better sono equipment. I guess I just have to put my faith in her and her years of expertise.

It is probably too early to see if they are in seperate sacs as of right now. Hopefully the specialist can tell or give you a definitvie answer as to when you can defintly tell.
