Hi,
I had another bleeding episode yesterday (pretty heavy). Sono showed all fetuses okay, but dr. said it could be the beginning of something. He put me on bedrest through Monday and I go back on Monday for sono. If nothing has changed, I'll be going to the specialist on Tuesday.

Thanks everyone. Sorry I have been MIA. I've been trying to absorb and deal with everything.
Here goes:
We went to meet the specialist and it turns out that the 2 identicals share a placenta, so the risks of carrying this particular type of triplet pregnancy is much higher than a regular triplet pregnancy (which, as you know, is extremely risky to begin with). She laid it all out. The stats--16% chance I'll miscarry them all by 20 weeks and if not, a 30% chance they will be born before 32 weeks. Also, if the identicals developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, where one takes all (too much) of the resources and the other gets very little, then that is bad enough if they are the only ones in the uterus. But, with another fetus, it would make it even harder to try to treat the identicals.
I am somewhat (as much as I can ever be) at peace with our decision to have the one baby. This is an extremely difficult decision, but the dr. made it easier to make.
Things can still change over the next few weeks, but it is not likely.
