2 kids approximately 27 months apart...anyone not get a double stroller?
We never put my son in a stroller ever. I think we may not need a double stroller? Am I crazy?

Jack was 27 months when the baby was born.
Honestly, we hardly use the sit and stand. For walks around the neighborhood and to the mall a few times.
If I go out with the two of them I put Tyler in the Bjorn and Jack in a cart. Now that Tyler is getting too heavy for that I do have the Sit and Stand in the car because I'm thinking I may need to start using it for errands. I have used it maybe a total of 10 times (not including walks around the block)
We also received a double jogging stroller as a gift so we will be using that for walks now.

My one son is 2 1/2 and the other is a month old. We don't need a double stroller. Teddy walks everywhere.

Mine are 30 months apart. I bought a used Sit N Stand and it's worked out great so far.

In that situation, I would go for the Sit & Stand. He needs his independence to be a little more "free" in the S&S.

My DS was was just over 30 months when the babies were born and we don't have a sit n stand and have never needed it. Before they were born he hardly ever sat in the stroller anymore.

My son had just turned 2 five days before DD was born and we used a sit and stand. It worked out fine. I also had a peg perego pliko stroller that has the place on the back for an older child to stand and that was a great feature to have since I could put the baby in the stroller and Jack would just hop on the back and ride along.

Re: 2 kids approximately 27 months apart...anyone not get a double stroller?
Frankie is going to be 27 months also when DD is born.
He hates his stroller, and right now, always insists on walking, which is fine for now, but will not be when DD comes.
I don't trust him enough to let him walk next to me without me being able to completely focus on him.
He is a runner and pries my hand off when I try to hold his. I also live in Queens, so I'm so scared of him running into the street.
I don't think there is any way I could ever go out with the 2 of them without a double stroller.
Luckily, I just got mine last week and for some reason he is infatuated with it and asks to go in it for a walk every night.
I hope it stays that when when DD comes or I will never be able to leave the house.
I think it depends on how often you have to go out by yourself with both of them, how well behaved your DS is, and what kind of neighborhood you live in.
