2 month old sleeping questions....
DD is getting worse instead of better. She is waking a lot during the night now. She usually (except for last night) goes down around 9:30 pm. What time does your 2 month old go to bed and how many times does he/she wake up during the night?

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Alex usually has her last bottle around 11pm. Then I swaddle her and she will sleep until 7 or so. She is still asleep right now. She fusses a little in the cosleeper around 6 (which is why I am up now) but I put her pacifier in and she is good for another hour or so.
This has been her pattern since the beginning really.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
we usually give ds last bottle between 10pm and midnight and he will sleep about 5 hours afterwards... then he will eat and go back to sleep for another 3 hours... so to answer your question he wakes up once during the night...

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Lucas goes down to bed by 8pm (we start the bedtime routine at 7pm). He usually was waking up at 1am and then 5am but this last week he has changed it to 4am and 6am. I think he might be making a change and getting ready to sleep through the night that or he's teasing me.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
DD is 2 mths and it's hard to still say- she goes down around 9 after a bath and nursing. most of the time she wakes again at 2:30 then at like 6 am to eat then back down til like 8. sometimes she goes down at 9 then wakes up at 5! but thats rare it seems to change all the time. i'm just grateful that she goes to sleep after mostt of her feedings at night!

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
I have been putting Jack to bed earlier bc he has been really tired starting at 7pm. So now I do the whole bedtime routine starting at 7. Bath, Bottle, then bed. He is usually asleep until around 3am. He then wakes up - I give him a quick bottle - back asleep by 3:15. Wakes up around 8am.
When I was putting him to bed later - giving him his last bottle around 9:30pm - he was sleeping straight through until about 8:30am.
I really don't mind waking up to give him that one feeding bc it is so quick - and bc he really does go to bed earlier now.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Mine goes down in her bassinet between 9 and 10 depending on how fussy she is that night (she has reflux). She will sleep until between 5 and 6 (rare mornings she wakes between 4 and 5). She will feed half asleep in my arms and then go right back to sleep with me until about 7-9am.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
He eats around 7:30pm-8pm. He takes a 4oz bottle (3-3.5oz during the day). He falls asleep between 8:15pm-9:30pm.
He wakes up 1am-3:30am (depending on day naps and time he falls asleep for the night). Eats. Goes back to sleep right away. Then wakes-up again at 5-5:30am. Eats. Go back to sleep. Wakes up again 7:30am-8am.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Gianna at 2 months started sleeping 10-12 hours a night without waking, she was BF.
Amelia will be 6 weeks old tomorrow, and the MIRACLE Blanket is my miracle! She sleeps from 10pm to 7 or 8am without waking. She is formula fed.
They go through a growth spurt around this age, I do/did make sure i fed/feed them on demand throughout the day, so their little tummies are satisfied when the go to bed. But my kids aren't really the norm for sleeping at that young.
Amelia is BRUTAL during the day cause of her reflux and milk allergy though, I am sooo surprised she sleeps at night!
ETA: Without the miracle blanket, amelia would be up every 15 min to 1 hour a night, the longest she ever went without the blanket was 2 hours. We just started using it last week.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Noah has been consistent with his sleeping since about 5-6 weeks old.
We dont let him nap past 8pm...
He gets his last bottle between 9:30-11pm and gets a diaper change, massage with lotion, swaddled and in his swing ( where he sleeps) between 10 pm and 12 am.
He sleeps till 8am-10am.
I think the keys are giving them a tad more in their last bottle if FF'ing, a routine and swaddling....
Also my mistake in the beginning was when he would fuss, I would jump up to change or feed him, and wake him up more.
Now I realize he is just fussing, and I might have to give him the pacifier 2-4 times , but he goes right bck to bed. Sometimes I just watch him fuss for 5 minutes, and he closes his eyes. I learned not to jump up at the first sound, b/c he is really not "waking up" liek I thought he was.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Danielle is only 7 weeks today, not exactly 2 months yet. I can't wait to get to longer stretches of sleep!!!!!
She has her last bottle around 10pm and will fight sleeping. We been putting her in her crib and letting her talk herself to sleep. She'll wake up at 2am and not go back asleep until 3, and wake up at 4:30 and again at 6.
My DD also hates to swaddle, kicks off any covers or anything on her feet

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
At 2 months, DD would go down at around 7:00. I would then give her another bottle at around 10:30 (no later). She was getting up at 3:00 for another feeding. I eventually weaned her off that feeding by feeding her more during the day. Now at 3 months, she'll sleep until 6-6:30.

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
AT 2 months Bella did the same thing. She was going down at about 10, after a bath (every other night) and a good feeding. Then she would sleep til about 4, fuss a bit and I'd BF her and she'd pass right out til about 7, then up for a diaper change, good feed and she'll go back down til about 9.
At 2 months, she was up EVERY 2 hours for feeding and more fussy.
Now she's back to her routine again. Bed- 10pm feed -4am Wake - 7am Feed - back down

Re: 2 month old sleeping questions....
Thanks for your replies. I don't get it b/c DD was really on a great routine for awhile...bath at 8:30 and asleep between 9:30-10:30. She would sleep until about 4 am and I would feed her and she would sleep until about 7, would be up for 2 hours or so and go down for a good 2 hour nap.
Well, now she is totally not on a good schedule and is sleeping more during the day (just woke up from a 3.5 hour nap and had an earlier 1.5 hour nap this morning but didn't sleep well at all last night). I actually received the Miracle Blanket yesterday and she kept getting her arms out of it last night so I must not be using it right...I'll try it again tonight and *hope* for my miracle!!!

theres no way she should have her arms out of it, its near impossible.
Go to the miracle blanket website and watch the video of how to put her in it.
