2 questions: group b strep and tdap
1.. at which appointment do they normally test? i just had my 34 week and they made no mention of it. maybe at 36? i plan on bringing it up to them
2.. where can me dh get the tdap shot? does anyone know if winthrop offers it when i deliver?

36 week appt
My husband had to go to a Duane Reade walk-in clinic in Manhattan to get his but that was 3 years ago. Not sure where to go on LI.

36 weeks for GBS.
DH went to his PCP to get the tdap. Same as my family. Some urgent cares and cvs minute clinics have it too but I'd call ahead to make sure.

35weeks for strep test
tdap I got in the hospital. my doc does not like to give it in the 3rd trimester

I don't remember the answer to the other questions but I gave birth in Winthrop 8 weeks ago. I got the tdap at the hospital, it was not offered to hubby there.

They will offer you the tdap in the hospital, and if they don't you just ask for it
Oops didn't see dh... he can go to a first med or his dr as well

Had my strep done last night at my 36 week appt and asked about TDAP and she said to do it at the hospital after delivery.
