2 Questions..OPK & EWCM????
Is it possible for one OPK to test positive and another not?
I have been using the saliva opk, which shows ferns when you are fertile. Well, today I decided to use a dollar tree OPK and it showed a line....meanwhile my saliva opk showed nothing.
Also, is it possible to test positive and have no EWCM?? I always have ewcm, so I can't understand why I don't and am testing positive.
Thoughts?!

I thought the saliva test was impossible to detect.
I would go with the other OPK.

when you say there was a line, do you mean that it was as dark or darker than the control line? That's the only time an OPK is considered positive.
Also, I never have EWCM, or any CM for that matter, and I get positive OPKs.

Hmm...the line was dark but not darker than the control line. Maybe it was not positive. I'm new using OPKs, so I thought a line was a line...like a pregnancy test.

No, OPKs are different than pg tests. You can always have some sort of line on an OPK (at least I do, but I have PCOS, so I have higher than normal levels of LH anyway). But the test is not considered a positive unless the test line is equally as dark or darker than the control line.
