2 year old mommies
How many hours after you child wakes up from a nap do you put them to bed? I wait about 8-9 hours. Is that too long? He will wake from his nap at 1230-1 and i put him to bed at 830-10

DS gets up from his nap most of the time b/t 2:30-3:30 and goes to bed around 8-8:30, so 5-6 hours or so is the difference i guess

Wakes around 6:30
Naps around 1:30-3:30
In crib by 7:30 - sleeping by 8pm usually.

It has to be at least 5 hours or more or he is not tired.
His nap time varies a little bit...anywhere from 12:30-2:30 start time and he naps till 3:00-4:00.
He now goes to bed ( recent change of say over last 2 months or so) about 9:30 pm
He sleeps till 8:00-9:30 am.

She woke up a little later today (6:30 am instead of 6:00 am  ) so her nap was at 11:30. I hear her now waking up and it's 1:10.
She won;t take another nap for the day and she'll be in bed by 7:00 / 7:30

She naps from 2:30p-5:30p and she's back in bed at 8pm the latest--so 2 1/2 hours later!
Is he not tired before 10pm? That seems like a late bedtime for a 2 year old.

I guess about 5-6 hours
DS naps for about 1.5-2 hours any where between 12:30-3pm
Bedtime is between 8-8:30pm (depends on how early we get home from work)

Wakes: 630/7
Naps: 1-3/330 (on school days) on non school days he naps 12-230
Bed: Between 815-830, asleep by 9PM the latest.

Sounds like a long afternoon.
DS naps around 2-4 and is down around 8:30 for bed. Typically asleep by 9:00.

 my parents always said this about my sister. And she ALWAYS stayed up late. They told her that she had to stay in her room and they didn't care what time she went to bed...

that's totally josh!
as long as he stays upstairs, I don't care what he does. No TV is on...he reads, builds, plays with his trains...
the kid never gets "tired"
like no meltdowns or anything. Just goes right on playing.
he was always like this...add in asthma meds and forget it!

DD's usually up by 6:30am, goes down for her nap around 1:30 or so, sleeps anywhere from 1.5-3 hours, and then is in bed by 8:30 most nights.

well is the routine you have now not working or do you want something different? Everyone is different, just do what works for you

DD just turned 3 but her nap schedule and sleep time have stayed the same as when she was first 2
woke at 7:30
napped from around 1-3 or 2-4
bedtime at 7:30
she could easily wake from nap at 4 and still go back to sleep for the night at 7:30

Cate naps from anytime between 12 and 5 for about 2 hours...even if she wakes up at 7pm, she still goes back to bed at 8pm...Shes never had a problem
