2 year old never wants to be in the stroller
Anyone else have this issue? I have 2 little one's and my older one hates being in the stroller. I try not to give her a choice, but DH is so much softer. I told him he needs to make her use the stroller too b/c she's going to be a basket case next time I need her to be in the stroller. She just wants to walk and go, go, go. Hates being tied down. What do you do about this?

We pretty much stopped using the stroller at 2ish

my DD was like that until we bought a new (company/lighter stroller) for a recent trip to NY.
Now she does not mind that much and ofter we give her the option to walk and if she can't listen and stay with us, she knows, in she goes. (I often offer a snack too so she's not completely causing a scene.

Not an option here... I have a 10 month old... there are times she HAS to be in the stroller. I'd like to take a nice park walk, but I can't have her on foot and get any speed.

I pretty much stopped going out and running errands with her.  She would have really bad tantrums and I could hardly get her in the thing!!
Now that I have another baby, all of a sudden she wants to be in the stroller!  Of course I didn't buy a double bc she hated strollers but I am getting a used sit n stand in hopes that I will soon be able to go in public places with both kids!

I give him a choice. He either holds on to the stroller or my hand or he goes in the stroller.
The second he throws a tantrum about holding my hand or runs from me, I pick him up and put him into the stroller.
Usually screaming, but whatever. I have a runner and I'm 7 mos preggo so I can't risk him walking and darting out of nowhere.
