2 year old putting everything in his mouth after teething is over???
OK, so here's a question for you...
DS was 2 in September. He finally finished getting in his 2 year molars so he isn't teething anymore.
Over the last week or so, he has reverted to putting EVERYTHING in his mouth again. His hands, fingers, books, toys, you name it.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Even when he was teething with his molars he wasn't putting this much stuff in his mouth.
Do I have a strange one or is this something others have noticed??? Thanks!

DD#1 goes through phases like this and she'll be 4 in may. sometimes it's her chewing on her hair, her sleeve, whatever she can get her hands on... i also see it sometimes when DD#2 is teething and chewing on everything including her sister!
i just tell her to quit it and she generally does...

UGGGG!!!! My 2.5 yr old DD puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, it is so frustrating. To her defense she doesn't have that many teeth but she scares me to death because she'll bite on diaper cream tubes, try to eat the remote control you name it she'll try to put it in her mouth.
I think (hope) it's just a phase.

Ds is over 3 and I still find him putting things in his mouth. For the life of me I can't understand why he does it at this age. It drives me bonkers!
