2nd child pain?

During my preg with #2, I have had major aches and pains in my legs, groin and pelvic area. My doctor and others I talk to saw this is definitely a 2nd child pain (baby sitting lower in pelvis, etc).

Anyone have/had this experience? And if so what did you do for it?
(I have had it for the past 6+ weeks and have 12 weeks to go, hope it doesn't last that long)

I've had the same thing. I don't remember being in this much pain with DD#1. It is not constant pain for me, but really bad pains in the groin and lower abdomen sometimes when I sneeze or cough or roll over in bed. I asked my doc about it and he just said it is normal stretching, or maybe even scar tissue.

Maybe if it is scar tissue, after DC#2, I can get a tummy tuck through insurance to "get rid of scar tissue"...hmmmm...

YES! You described everything I was feeling when I was pg with #2. I just assumed it was because I had them so close together and I was still carrying out an extra 10 pounds from #1.

I was in MUCH more pain than I was with #1- so much so that I contemplated NOT having a 3rd..

i have the same thing and this is my first pregnancy so i just thought it was normal. But I have been carrying very low the whole pregnancy.

I'm having the same thing. I thought it was because I'm having twins this time around but I guess t's just normal. My groin and legs hurt a lot, especially at night.

So nice to know others are going through this as well!! I cannot believe how bad pains are that I get at times. Usually in the lower abdomen area when I sneeze or cough in bed. First time it was really bad I thought something bad had happened with the baby
