2nd convertible car seat
I am looking for a 2nd convertible car seat. I am traveling in July with DS but I also wanted to use the 2nd car seat as a seat for my parents. My dad watches DS during the week so I want something he;ll be comfortable in but not to heavy or expensive. I've been looking at the Evenflo tribute or tribute sport, but I'm not sure if they are FAA approved. I looked at the tirbute sport and couldn't find the label that says approved for aircrafts, so I dont want to buy unless I can use it for the plane. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: 2nd convertible car seat
Anyone have ideas for any 2nd convertible seat? I'm good with anyone as long as its cheap (under $100), not heavy, comfortable for use throughout the week (my dad doesn't go out too often with him, but if he does I want him to be comfortable) and can be used on an airplane.

Re: 2nd convertible car seat
We have the Cosco Scenera as our 'second/backup' convertible car seat. Very inexpensive but had good safety ratings. We mainly got it because we were flying with DD and didn't want to lug our heavy Britax on the plane.

2nd convertible car seat
We're getting the Cosco Scenera too. It's so inexpensive and we really just need it for our Florida trip in July. Then, I'll put it in my car. We have the main car seat in DH's car.

Re: 2nd convertible car seat
another vote for the Cosco Scenara- we bought it for my MIL to use and its fabulous- very inexpensive, was easier to learn how to install from the car seat inspector than our britaxes and so reasonable- walmart had them for $40
