Re: 3 & 4 yr old moms - preschool question
In his 3 year old class last year, they had up to 15 students enrolled, but since some kids went 2 days a week and some went 3 days, there wasn't always 15 kids, KWIM? One teacher, one aide.
This year, his 4 year old class has 12 students, again, not all there every day. One teacher, one aide.

Re: 3 & 4 yr old moms - preschool question
I am not sure exactly since at the Montesorri we go to there is morning, afternoon and all day. I know there are 5 teachers which is over the requirement for the ratio so that if one of them is out sick they don't need anyone else. I think most days the average is 5-7 kids to 1 teacher.

Re: 3 & 4 yr old moms - preschool question
My son is in a combined 3 & 4 year old class (he's the only 3 year old). The ratio is 6 to 1.

Re: 3 & 4 yr old moms - preschool question
There are 10 kids enrolled in each class, with a primary teacher, and an assistant, but many of those children are part-time, so there is never a day when they have all 10. Most days it's between 6-8 children.
For hebrew immersion it is 6 children with a primary teacher and an assistant.
