I think it's more common that not to have a baby that wakes up at 3.5 months, or at least that's what I told myself when I did it. DD didn't sleep through the night till we did CIO a little over 6 months.

DS will be 5 months this week and is not sleeping through the night. It is awful because he is up like 3 times a night...I have no idea what to do at this point, We have tried everything. We are completely exhausted but I am just hanging in because I know it wont last forever. We are thrown for a loop because DD STTN at 3 months.

My dd is 15 months and still doesn't sttn. You are not alone!!!

A second thank you! DS doesn't sttn yet and he's 4.5 mos, I don't know what I expected - I was hoping for one of those sttn at 2wk babies but DS #1 didn't either until 8 mos.
I wish he only got up like 1x per night but he gets up 3x /night! It's like clockwork, 11pm, 2am and 4am, than he's up for the day at 6am I dream of getting more sleep one day soon!!! rt now I'm just a walking zombie.

My DS is almost 9 months old and still doesn't STTN. When he turned 4 months old he slept 8 hours straight on breastmilk. At 4 1/2 months old he was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy and ever since then, he wakes up every 3 hours to eat. In bed sleeping by 7:30pm and wakes up at 11pm, 2am, 5am, and is ready to start his day at 5:15am. Im still trying to figure out if it's the special formula that isn't filling him up. He's not allowed rice, oatmeal, breads, basically anything with milk protein in it. I pray one day I will sleep again..

I always laugh when I see posts like this. No, you're not alone. DS didn't STTN until he was 10.5 months old AND still doesn't STTN consistently at the age of 26 months! You get used to it.

I EBF but my son did not sleep thoughout the night until welll over a year!

mine didn't STTN until 17 long months. He was a challenge.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it starts soon though.

Um, my DS didn't even start to STTN until he was almost one year old. At over two, he still wakes up at night occasionally.

DS first STTN at 7 months old. He went down to waking once per night at 6 months. Before that, he was up 2-3 times per night.

At 2 years old, DS was still waking through the night at least once and even now and almost 3 he is up at least once or twice a week.

I think it depends on every kid...

My DD is 3 YEARS old and still doesn't SSTN most night


My other 2 weren't sleepers either for the most part and none of them SSTN at 3 months
