36 weeks- lightheaded, shortness of breath, shaky- Anyone else?
I have really been feeling off the last few days. I have been feeling lightheaded/dizzy or just kind of in a fog pretty much all day long. It's not just when I am getting up and down. I also have episodes when I am just sitting down and feel like I have to catch my breath. I also have periods of shakiness where I feel like I haven't eaten anything, but have. I went to the doctor last night and blood pressure and urine was fine. He said he thinks I am just getting to the end and it is just pregnancy. Anyone else feel crappy like this? I just think it is weird that it is like all day long.

I'm 31 weeks and have these episodes every day now. I had the same thing with my first pregnancy. Normal, third trimester woes, I'm sorry to say!

Glad to hear that some other people are having similar things happening. I was beginning to get concerned that I had something seriously wrong neurologically or with my heart or something!

There are some days that I feel like this all day and have been since 33 weeks. My doctor says that it's common but I did read that it could be related to an iron deficiency. At 36 weeks though, I would think that your Dr. would have checked you for anemia. I would of course mention it to your Dr.

You know I was just reading about the iron deficiency. I don't think I have been checked for anemia. I don't think I have had any blood work done since like 20 weeks when I had the 2nd part of the screening tests. Does everyone get tested for anemia later in pregnancy? I told my doctor on Tuesday how I was feeling, and he didn't mention anything.

Funny because my docs tested my iron at my blood glucose test and I came back with a slight iron deficiency. They prescribed me iron pills, but the side effects are worse from them than from the anemia

I'm glad you posted this. I've been feeling this same thing since about 31 weeks and thought I was the only one. I did test positive for an iron deficiency and have been on iron pills, so maybe it is related to that.
