the reason why this is 100 bucks because the new faster model will be out in a couple of weeks. great if you need this functionality, but the newer 3G S will have faster speeds and better spec's

Yes, it's not to late... 30 days I think you have with them... But I'm not sure if it's there yet...
I never buy any Apple product from any other place other than the Apple Store...

I want to get the one you can get now (not the new one) without a contract. the person already has a plan, and cannot upgrade for a very long time. I can't figure out a way to get one without it. Does the store sell them outright? and how much would it cost??

Is it me or did Apple totally drop the ball with this new 3Gs phone?
What does this phone have that is so great over the current 3G model?
It looks the same, no new design.
They say faster CPU - but still no multitasking ability so what's the point of a faster CPU?
Faster 3G speeds - which aren't even out yet, are totally untested, and no clue what areas will have this enabled (probably only metro areas).
Supposedly better battery (again really untested).
No iChat (so still no video chat which everyone was expecting).
Doesn't sound like current 3G owners are missing anything.
ETA: The only upgrade I can really see is in storage (going to 32GB). I still think Apple dropped the ball with this one.

I don't think it is possible..Yet. I read somewhere in 2010 it will be released to other cell carriers
