4 month FREAKOUT????? Advice?

So Gavin has been throwing "tantrums" these last few days, literally screaming his lungs out like someone is ripping his limbs off.

It's mostly when I put him down, he arches his back and freaks out......we can barely have dinner anymore.

Last 2 nights it was around 7PM and his bedtime is usually 7:30-8:00....

DO you think I should push forward his bedtime or is this a separation anxiety thing?

Advice?

I wouldnt say separation anxiety just more that you have annoyed him by putting him down...

caden has a certain cry for just such an indignity....it's like he cant believe you had the gawl to put him down...

You're not doing anything wrong. If it makes you feel any better, both my 3YO and my 19 MO still protest every now and again if he/she wants 10 more minutes of playtime before his/her nap or he/she wants an extra 15 minutes before going to bed.

He will learn to realize that it's time for bed and that's it. He's just a stubborn little guy and got mad for mommy putting him to bed, that's all.

Does he settle himself down and eventually go to sleep?

He goes to bed just fine....this is during the day and gets worse as the day progresses.....
He gets swaddled and put in his crib semi-awake, puts himself to bed just fine...
sorry for the confusion.
