4 month wake period
DD just turned 4 months and was sleeping about 6 hours at a clip then got up to feed and then slept another 4.
In the past few days, she has been getting up every 3 hours! I have no clue what is going on! Is this the 4 month wakeful period???
I have also noticed that she can no longer make it 4 hours between feeds during the day, and seems to be feeling every 3 hours.
Anyone else experience this???

Re: 4 month wake period
my DS is just about 4.5 months and he eats every 3-3.5 hrs during the day, solids 2x a day, and sleeps all night. HOWEVER, he's started waking up for his pacifier around 4:45am lately. I now put him to bed with 3-4 within reach so he can find one on his own . She may definitely be growing!

Re: 4 month wake period
It might be a growth spurt. DS just started sleeping longer around 4 months, but it all depends. I think it's a growth spurt and won't last

Re: 4 month wake period
could also be waking because of teething. My dd did at 3.5 months and then a week or so later, two teeth popped through

Re: 4 month wake period
thanks! I am just at a loss.
we were just at the ped for her 4 month visit and she was doing great. ever since friday night and her 3 shots after the visit, we haven't been sleeping well and the eating has changed.
gums aren't swollen, but she is very oral with putting everything in her mouth. she has found her thumb, but hasn't been able to put a paci back in her mouth.
I am hoping that she just puts on enough weight in the next month so that the peds feel comfortable starting solids at 5 months!
She is formula fed (nutramigen) and just weighted in at 11 lbs 6 oz...so she is a tiny tike!
