my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. also please dont take this wrong but do not give up go the other specialists get second opinions. I know to many people who have been in your situation and and one in particular who also had a brain tumor that was cancer in a very bad spot and his dad was a doctor and they went until they found someone who could help and they finally did and he had the tumor removed and did very well. I hope you have the same luck. Good luck to you and keep updating us. Also somepics of baby Joey would be nice

How soon can you start the treatment?

we will probably be starting in about 2 weeks. I have a few tests I have to do first, as well as I want to go to two other places for second and third opionions adn then we will start the rockin' and the rollin'

Deb - I'm so sorry. I don't even know what to write right now. I pray that you become the miracle case that everyone else with this form of cancer strives for and I hope every oncologist wants to get assigned to you with the hopes of being the guy in the medical journals..
eta. I'm assuming you're going for a second opinion. If you need recommendations for Sloane in NY, please let me know. My boss went to a oncology ENT there with a great outcome (well he's still an azz, but they said that can't be fixed).

My gosh, I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry!! Hang in there and definitely get a second opinion. We are all praying for a miracle for you and you are going to get that miracle. I'm very optimistic.
