I am not someone who typically figures out the "twist" in a suspense novel, but I figured it out in The Girl on the Train fairly early...anyone else?
Yes - I'm pretty good at figuring out plot twists in these type of books, and I guessed it about halfway in. I thought the book was ok but very overhyped. It wasn't a "can't put it down" book for me. I didn't like the main character and because there were so few characters in the book (and a very obvious red herring), I didn't find it difficult to figure out what was really going on.

Just finished Don't you Cry by Mary Kubica
Started Pretty Baby by the same author
I wanted to get Behind Closed Doors but it's not out yet and I needed a book to start for a trip.

Loving the Mary Kubica books....just finished Pretty Baby and read The Good Girl last week. Couldn't put either down!
I just finished Don't You Cry by her. I think it was her best one yet.
This makes me so excited! I didn't want to read all three of hers in a row..taking a break, so I am reading The Girl on the Train (like everyone else has!). Same genre...I like it but it's so far fetched.
You will love Don't you Cry.
Just finished it.

I actually tried to start the new Judy Blume adult novel (In the Unlikely Event) but there are like 7 or 8 characters narrating it and I don't feel like having an attention span right now!

Just reread the whole Harry Potter series so I could better appreciate The Cursed Child -- which I read in three hours tonight because I honestly couldn't put it down. (And I'm also glad I put in the last two weeks to read the series again because I fell in love all over again.)
Trying to figure out what's next is going to be my bigger problem...

Just finished The Lost Girls by Heather Young and it is now one of my all time favorites. I could not put it down and I am so sad it is over. Still thinking about the characters. I highly recommend it.

Just finished "The Good Goodbye" by Carla Buckley. It was good (better than I expected, as it was a "free" book on BookBub).

Behind Closed Doors. Its really affecting me, the abuse in the book (mental, not physical) is horrific. I cant put it down though because I need to see what happens. This author is twisted.
