4yr old feeding help!!!!!

my 4yr old DD is such a picky eater! its making me nuts! one day she loves something, so i go out and buy a few of them.. and then when i go to make it for her she will not touch it!!! i am having sooo much trouble getting her to eat a variety of foods.. does anyone have the same issues with their child(ren)??? any suggestions??

my nephew just turned 5---hes really picky. only eats chicken nuggets- has to cooked a certain way otherwise wont eat, french fries, pancakes, and pizza- cant have any black on bottom.

hes been this way since birth.

im so glad my DD is not the only one like this... she is sooo freakin picky... she will only eat certain chicken nuggets, only certain meatballs.. usually will not touch red sauce.. and pretty much has to be in the mood for any of the other things she will actually eat... she loves fruit and veggies but same thing applies- she wont touch them sometimes.

Hope she grows out of it.. my neice was kinda like this also, now shes 6 and now is willing to try stuff and turns out she likes the stuff..

When DS first started eating solids, he ate anything and everything. Up until around 3, he still pretty much ate everything. He did have some opinions, but not much. Now that he's 4.5, he is very picky. Probably started around 3.5 or so. One day he "hates" that, the next day he loves it.... we never know. He eats enough overall, so we don't worry, it's just annoying sometimes.....
