Also, I read online that these books were originally written as Twilight fan-fiction, and I can TOTALLY see it! Christian and Ana were originally Edward and Bella. The author wrote them and posted them in a sexy Twilight fanfic forum. Is that hilarious or what???

It might be funny that she wrote it for twilight, but look where it got her.
When she wrote the fan fiction the title was Masters of the Universe....different character names but exact same story.
wait, so were they vampires in the fan fiction? is that how fan fiction is, that you can change the facts of the stories? sorry, i'm really clueless about it. i always just assumed that it was different people's continuations of the plot of the book.
Fan Fiction is just taking characters from say Twilight and using them in a story not related or related... really anything goes in FF as long as you credit the author and don't copy right them.

So not liking the 3rd installment.
I just stopped reading it after not being able to put down the 1st and 2nd ones.
Ana is beyone irritating to me in this book.
I want to finish it so I can say that I completed them all, but my interest has faded A LOT with this one.
I feel like I'm reading the same lines over and over "I love you, I need you, I'll never leave you, You are ALL I need...blah blah blah"

YES!!! This is my other issue with these books.
As HOT as I envision Christian to be (Paul Walker esq ) no two people want each other THIS much.
Everything turns them on - she pushes an elevator button and he thinks she's the most beautiful woman ever - they have sex.
She thinks he looks hot with his gray pattern fleece pants on (which my mind totally thinks are FUGLY) they have sex.
Their attraction to one another is so overboard, that I find myself struggling to keep my mind in this fantasy.
I find it flickering back and forth because I'm always  at the over attraction and amount of sex they have.
and YES to the 70's bush comment - I don't think clean and trimmed when they mention her bush

Especially b.c of two little ones it's nice to escape
I also can't buy the whole...she's beautiful, but innocent thing. It's like all books. The good, innocent girl who wears jeans and sneakers, doesn't drink but totally gorgeous. Every man wants her, but she's naive and a virgin. It's too much. Oh, and the girl always has the fun, beautiful friend who's not so innocent

I am 3/4 done with the second book and I agree. I also find it very far fetched and at this point I am skimming over some of the sex scenes because it is too much. Granted, it did take me only 3 days to read all of this :)

I tried to read this but ended up skimming the last sixty pages of the first book. Like PPs have said, this book is poorly written. I can not STAND Anastasia "holy shit" Steele.
I've read way better erotica ( Charise Sinclair). I had hoped for a better series to past the time on flights but this just became a joke among my friends and I.
Did anyone see Dr. Drew talking about this book on his HLN show? He ripped it apart.

I just finished the 3rd book and quite honestly, I just wanted the book to finish about a 1/4 into it. I was done with hearing about their sexing and actually skimmed over most of the sex in the 2nd and 3rd book! I liked the story and there were some parts that I didn't see coming but there were way too many things that I didn't like about these books. But, after reading all 3 in a week, it is now back to reality lOL

I've been home sick for 3 days.. just finished the second book and had to step away from my nook and rejoin the universe. I already bought the third book so I'm definitely going to read it but I've been over the sex since the middle of the second book.
9 1/2 weeks was one short book - I don't think these two have been together for 9 weeks yet in almost 700 pages, 3 apartments (for Ana), and 82874782669032 orgasms. And I'm sorry but she DEFINITELY should have had a UTI by now.

I read master of the universe for free online(you still can) same story only the names have changed. Its twighlight fan fiction. I can't believe how many people have read this book and have no idea.

Ana is annoying and Completly full of herself.

This. I read the series, only to find out what happens.
A whole lot of nothing. Ana is annoying and probably has some kind of kidney infection that is affecting her brain.
Christian just no. The first one was hot, but how many times can I read about him "having her." it got old really fast.
