Im glad I got these for free from epubbud.com because these books were just not that great. Im going back to my good books now I just had to read them because of all the hype.
Thanks for the Epubbud.com tip. I paid for the first 2 but just downloaded the second 2 there.

I'm so glad someone has a thread going about this series. I just started the 2nd one after flying through the first one.
I just read that they are making a movie now. How will they do that without it being a porn!??
All I can think about is the movie Secretary ( James Spader, Maggie Gyllenhal). Hs name in that movie is 'Mr. Gray'. I picture Ana looking Ike Amanda Seyfried.

I didn't see this thread when I posted....
I am enjoying it but think so much of it is just stupid and I hate the characters. All of them.... I just finally got through her first time with him.
That was kind of hot.... But the wording ruined it for me.... And he talks so damn much. I would have to tell him to shut up.
Not for nothing.... But I wish I had 3 O's MY first time!!!!
How is this guy so rich, btw?????

I've been home sick for 3 days.. just finished the second book and had to step away from my nook and rejoin the universe. I already bought the third book so I'm definitely going to read it but I've been over the sex since the middle of the second book.
9 1/2 weeks was one short book - I don't think these two have been together for 9 weeks yet in almost 700 pages, 3 apartments (for Ana), and 82874782669032 orgasms. And I'm sorry but she DEFINITELY should have had a UTI by now.

I'm 3/4 done with the first book, my mother how now downloaded it and I am mortified. Lol
I know someone had mentioned Edward/Bella but it really reminds me of Bill/Sookie from True Blood, at least so far. The whole innocent virgin thing, stay away from me I'm no good for you, jealousy, etc etc oh and the multiple O's

Just finished the second book. Going to wait a few days before I start the third. My brain needs a break.
I will say, I flew through the first 2 books (in 2 days) but I feel like my head is spinning.

Can someone FM me the deets of the second and third books? I am not crazy about the first, I skipped to the end. I like my trashy romance to have some romantic storyline as well. Do they end up in a normal relationship???

For what it's worth, I liked the second one MUCH better than the first if you'd like to give it try. Otherwise FM me, I'd be happy to talk about them, it's my new favorite obsession :)

Finished reading all three a few days ago. I enjoyed the series, but wished they explored Christian's issues/past a little more. To me that was the best part, learning more about how he became the person he was.

Finished the 1st one last night and bought the 2nd one. LOVE it!!!
I loved the email exchanges although they were a little annoying at points.
I can't wait to read the rest of them!

I'm a little more than halfway through and I find Ana's character annoying. I get the hype, but there are so many other books out there that are way better.
