Do you know a deserving Mom who would love to win a photography session for her family? Then enter her into our contest from Forever Fireflies! Forever Fireflies is giving away not one but TWO indoor studio sessions for the Mom you nominate and one for yourself as well!

All you need to do is reply to this thread and tell us why this Mom is so wonderful and/or what makes her a great mom. Please include her first name and her relation to you. The other mom doesn't have to be on LIF it can be your sister, your neighbor, your boss, whomever you choose.

The prize includes:

- indoor studio session for yourself and person you nominated
- no time limit
- limited to immediate family

One entry allowed per person and you must post your entry on this contest thread. Contest ends May 13, 2010 at midnight and winner will be announced the following week. Winner will be selected randomly from the contest entries.

I'd like to nominate my younger sister.

She is 20, pregnant, and definitely not going to have enough money for a newborn shoot. Her boyfriend is not supportive or active but she is doing her best to save every penny and be healthy for her little one on the way.

I nominate my aunt. She has 4 kids ages 14-7 and is a SAHM. She has patience of a saint, juggles all sports and school activities and never really looses her cool. She never has time for herself and never really complains about it. So, there is my vote, for my Aunt trish!

I'd like to nominate CouponMom (Katie). She is one of my closet friends. She is an amazing mom. She is always doing for others and doesn't get much mommy time. She is always thinking of others whether its the mommies in her church, her fellow friends, or family members. She is always willing to help out or offer her time to anyone in need. Plus, the girl works all the time. She currently works two jobs and deserve a fun day out with her family.

I'd like to nominate my mom, Kathleen. She watches DS while I work, despite her own health issues. I truly feel like she is a second mother to DS because of all the time she is with him, and I am honored that my DS will be raised with her values. There is no way to repay her for all she has done for DS, but I would love to honor her with a shoot of her and DS.

I would like to nominate my own mom. She has raised myself and 3 sisters...all of whom are all grown.

My mom has also raised all of her grandchildren. She would not let anyone babysit them, unless it was her. She refused to work so that she can be a stay at home grandma. The youngest child is my son who is 9 years old. She picks him up from school everyday, feeds him and makes him do HW untilI go pick him up.

She has many health issues, however still wants her grandkids around her. I am pregnant, and due in August. My mom says she will babysit this baby so that I can work. This lady is going on 65, has various doctor appointments, and her health is not up to par. I would love to present her with a photo shoot with her and all of her grandkids.

I would like to nominate DmarieK, Dawn. As most of us know she is really having a hard time with her new little guy and I think it would just be such a wonderful, uplifting, gift if she could capture some of the wonderful moments. It would give her something to look back on and realize that she did such an amazing job and that she SURVIVED... TWICE!

Plus both our little men were born on the same day, so I feel connected to her.

I'd love to nominate my BFF Maureen. My best friend, a person more like my sister than my own. She is kind, understand, the greatest person to be around and to have your DC around.

This women has overcame so many obstacles in her life. She could have easily thrown in the towel and become a nobody but she has constantly fought to stay true to herself and to be better than where she came from. She has 2 gorgeous daughters. Her oldest is not living with her and she is fighting to get her back into her arms again. She is almost there after years of battling her daughters father, of never giving up hope. Her dreams of having both her daughters under one roof is about to come true.

I nominate my sister. She is 24 and is a SAHM of three kids under the age of three. I know that she definitely wants a family portrait done and individual pictures of each but to get all of her kids (and herself lol) out of the house and to a portrait studio never happens! I know this would mean a lot to her to capture that time when the kids are at such a precious age! And to even get professional individual pictures which hasn't happened since each were newborns. That's why I nominate my sister.

I would like to nominate my friend, Kerry. She has a gorgeous 5 month old baby boy and had the hardest time conceiving him. She is one of the sweetest, kind most selfless people I have ever met. She is always willing to help anyone, and volunteers at the church as well as works FT. I know she can not afford something like this, but it would make her so happy.

I'd like to nominate my sister in law Bernadette. She has two little girls Brianna born dec 10 2007and Julianna born december 3rd 2008 yes thats right less than one year apart. She also has a step daughter who is 13! She has the patience of a saint and definitely has a crazy time with her two especially being a SAHM. I definitely envy her patience and wish I had just alittle bit of it! Oh yea and she has to put up with my brother which is a whole other story lol!

I would like to nominate my sister in law Katie. She is an awesome mom to my nephew and a wonderful aunt and Godmother to my girls. I have really leaned on her through my pregnancy and after they were born. She has also been helping us by watching my girls and that is a huge help and a lot of work especially with a very active 16 month old!

She never took my nephew for a newborn shoot and never really had professional pics taken of him. I think she would really enjoy this. It would also be nice if we could perhaps do pictures of my nephew and the girls together.

I would like to nominate my friend Lauren to win this contest. She is an amazing single mother of two children. She recently returned to school to pursue a career in nursing. She is an inspiration to me b/c she can handle any loops that life throws at her.

I would like to nominate my amazing mother. She raised three kids on her own (ages 30, 27, and 23) and did one heck of a job! She has ALWAYS wanted professional pictures of us taken, but we are a bit camera shy

She is going through a lot right now and could definitely use some cheering up. My mom is selling my deceased grandmother's house (that's been in the family for over 60 years) that she has lived in for the past six years because she can no longer afford it. She also has some health issues, which unfortunately, are affected by stress My mom is celebrating her 60th birthday this year and I KNOW a family picture of her three children, and my DD (her first grandchild) would make her SO incredibly happy!

I would like to nominate Hayley (maybeamommy), as I know she is moving back to NY late summer. (Hayley, I hope you don't mind!) When I was having trouble TTC coupled with other medical issues, Hayley was always a ray of sunshine, always showed me the bright side of everything. As you all know, Hayley was also going through her own TTC/IF journey and throughout it all, she was always bright and happy for everyone. I kept going because of Hayley's positive attitude and supportive nature. I admire her for her strength throughout difficult times and how no matter what, she always looked at the glass half full. Hayley is there to celebrate the good and to catch me and all of her friends when we fall. I am truly blessed to count Hayley as a dear friend of mine and I would love to see more cute photos of her DS Loey!

I would like to nominate my best friend, Luciana.

Luciana became a single mother when her 2 boys were only 2 years old and 2 months old.

Her husband left her... and left her to raise her children all alone.

Not only did Luciana go on...she went above and beyond to be the best mother and person she could be.

She volunteered to be an EMT in our local firehouse, she coached her older son's Little League, she's been class mom twice, and she even works at the local hospital part time.

Luciana was remarried a few months ago, and I am so happy she has found happiness again, but her true love is her 2 boys.

And that's why I nominate my best friend, Luciana.

I want to nominate my sister. She is a single mom and an inspiration to me because she left her abusive husband. But since she lives in Florida, she can't do this.

I would like to nominate my sister. She is a mother of four boys; 8, twin boys that are almost 7, and a 7 week old. My sister is dedicated to her children and never uses them as an excuse for not doing things in life. She takes them everywhere and is involved in their activities. Not only is she a full time mom, but she is also a teacher. The boys love her with all their heart.

I am pregnant with my first child and I look up to her as a role model. I can only hope that I am as good as a mother has she is to her children.

I'd actually like to nominate my MIL.

Besides working 2 jobs and doing a ridiculous amount of community service she has raised three of the most amazing children, including my DH. She will literally help anyone and everyone that she can when ever she can. She is extremely compassionate, an amazing cook and baker and quite possibly the nicest person I know.

But those aren't the only reasons I think she deserves this. She has always be kind, loving and welcoming to me but after my mom passed away in September she has taken on an entire new role. She has become a surrogate mother for me and I couldn't be more blessed. She threw my baby shower. She helps me take care of DS. She offers advice without being pushy. She offers to do his laundry, cooks us dinner and babysits anytime we ask. I can't thank her enough.

I would like to nominate my sister and BIL. They have 3 kids (12, 11 and 8) and have never had a family photo taken. My BIL switched to working overnights so that the kids would not have to go to daycare and 12 years later he's still on overnights so that he is there when the kids get home from school. It would be great for them to get some family pictures.

I want to nominate my cousin Jennifer. She just had her son Nicholas in July after years and years of trying and unfortunately many losses. She was told that she would not be able to have any children of her own, and Nicholas was born from her LAST frozen egg.

She was blessed with her beautiful son only to have her father taken from her unexpectadly four months later. She feels she was cheated, that her father was cheated, and unfortunately her son also.

The last couple of months have been the hardest of her life and I know that she would love to have some beautiful pictures to treasure of her son!

I would like to nominate Nicki, who is Moosey911 on here. She no longer posts all the often but I know she lurks once in awhile. We have never even met but her story touched me. She is a single mom struggling to make a life for herself and her son. I think she deserves something like this so to keep the memories forever.

I'd like to nominate my best friend. She has 3 children, her middle son has Down Syndrome, he is on par with a 9-12 month old, is non verbal and doesnt walk. She doesnt let his disability be his crutch and treats him like any other 5 year old boy, she makes sure he does everything his brother and sister do. She is such an inspiration.
