A good friend of mine survived advanced breast cancer--and she said the best thing she did for herself was to keep laughing. Surround yourself with positive, upbeat people, and keep doing the things you love to do. A positive outlook is everything--you CAN beat this!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry, many prayers to you. It's not over yet- stay strong and I hope you have your family involved to support you and get you through this. Def get a second opinion asap, i hope it's better news.
My friends mother had advanced skin cancer - she was 75 when diagnosed and the dr. was not optimistic. They had to do surgery and cut to the bone and she is perfect. She is 82 and swims in the LI Sound every summer day. I know every skin cancer is not the same and it is really hard to stay positive, but try! :
