6 month old... crying while sleeping at night?

6 month old... crying while sleeping at night?
My DS is going to be 6 months on Thursday. The past couple of nights he starts crying while he is sleeping. It lasts maybe for 2 minutes at most. I don't think he is awake because his eyes are still closed. I thought maybe he had a poopie diaper but he doesn't. Could he be having nightmares? Do babies have nightmares? What else could it be?

My DS fusses in the middel fo the night all the time. It is just like us tossign and turning.....so really soemthing to worry about.

Thanks! I am not really worried per say... I just feel bad for him because its more then just fussing. Its like a loud sob. It sounds like he is really crying.... but when I walk in his room to check on him he is usually back asleep.

DD does this all the time. Nothing to be concerned with.
ETA: Does he use a binky at night? DD will cry out while she looks for her binky, but then when she finds it she lays back down and is right back to sleep. Sometimes I think it's from a dream. And sometimes I wodner if she just was asleep in a weird position and maybe an arm fell asleep or something. Just some possible causes for you.

He is a side sleeper so maybe his arm is falling alseep.
