People can protest. They shouldn't be stopped.

If they are inciting violence, yes they should.

Yes. Which is few. Portland got hairy.
But the rest should keep on all over.

Million Women March is being organized for Inauguration Day in DC, too.

As long as it's done peacefully, I completely agree with you EatingMyVeggies that people SHOULD protest. People should be heard. President-Elect Trump ((gag)) should be hearing ALL of this. He should acknowledge the country's concerns and then do what he can to ease people's minds and make them feel better about the future. Isn't he all about "Making America Great Again"?????? I've yet to hear him really say anything productive since the protesting began. He's not trying to do anything to bring people together. Here's his first opportunity to put his money where his mouth is and so far..................nothing. Instead he goes off on tweet rants like a child and again, blames the media for everything. Give me a break. Chat Icon

Acknowledge the country's concerns? Just like Obama has every time a police officer has been purposely killed? Each and every time this has happened in the recent past all you heard was crickets chirping from Obama. But the second a black person, guilty or not, is killed or even injured by police he holds a conference about it and references back to it for weeks and months later. But now you expect Trump to be all over this when he's not even officially the president yet?

Yes, I fully expect him to say something other than ranting like a damn baby on Twitter and making things worse. At least RECOGNIZE over half the country didn't want you for President and make an intelligent comment to help the situation instead of tweeting like a crazed 15 yr old.

They are also distrupting people's lives. People who are trying to get to work and wherever else. People who have gone on and realized the election is over and need to get back to reality.

What do you expect? The media ran this election. Lied to the public and then everyone gets mad because he won? It was pretty obvious when she was getting a couple thousand if even that at her rallies and he was getting 20-30,000 at almost every one.
Should people be upset? Sure. To protest day after day after day though? For what? What are they proving? What are they accomplishing? Nothing. They just look more and more like a bunch of big babies who think that if they say he is not our president, they will just change their mind. Start watching videos of protesters being interviewed. Very eye opening. They have NO clue about this election and just a bunch of followers.

I saw some of those interviews. These protestors could not even utter one good reason why they were protesting and what for. Clearly they have no jobs and protesting as a professional may be their main job right now.

I agree that since they are Hillary's voters and Obama is the president, I also agree it's their job to speak regarding the protests. Not the man who has not even been appointed yet and was just named President Elect a few days ago. Ridiculous.

Well he did last night if that will satisfy you while the president decided to go golfing and not address it. I bet you wouldn't say that about Clinton if she was elected.

Considering these acts of violence and hate against marginalized community members are being committed in his name, absolutely.

Scary that so many would follow a criminal and think that what she has done in her life is better than what he has.

Maybe you should at least let him try. We have seen what the Clintons have done (or should I say not done).

I think it's utterly hysterical that you think you just elected into office a good, honest, altruistic, American with your best interest in mind.

Let's just call it like it is here too please..................had Trump lost you would all be a bunch of crybabies tweeting and freaking out that the election was rigged and his loss is all the media's fault. I doubt any Trump supporter would've taken his loss like a champ.

Also, the protests aren't because she just lost............it's because of the VERY real fear some Americans now have with him as our leader. A fear for personal safety since our nation is now being led by a racist, sexist, homophobic pig.

But keep telling yourself he's a swell guy! Chat Icon

I can't speak for anyone else but I do. Fear mongers. Sorry but I have heard it, read it and I find it ridiculous. They have all jumped on the band wagon, just like the dissolving of gay marriages. People hear one person say something and they run with it.
And the majority of protesters are millennials who don't know the word no. Watch the interviews some time of these people. It will tell you a lot who is out there protesting.

So sure he is going to fail. Just like everyone was so sure he just could not win. We shall see how this plays out.

Who knew there was so many sheep eager to follow the misinformed, ignorant rantings of a madman?!?!

Scary that so many would follow a criminal and think that what she has done in her life is better than what he has.

And protest and destroy things in attempt to get their criminal in the White House.

Chat Icon

I can only speak for myself but I was at peace that she was going to win. Would I have been happy, nope. Would I have protested and stomped my feet, nope. I would have accepted that she was elected and prayed to god that she wouldn't have destroyed our country anymore than she already has.

Well there is one positive from the interview that none of you can turn into a negative (I think). He isn't taking a salary as president!

He wouldn't be the first. Who gives a cr@p.

I think you're missing the point of WHY people dislike him so much. WHY there is a fear that wouldn't have existed had HRC been elected. You really cannot compare the two! Forget it. Like talking to the wall. Chat Icon Chat Icon
