7-8 month old feeding schedule help
Can you please share your feeding schedules and how you started your 3rd solid?
This is DS' current schedule:
6AM - 8 oz bottle 9AM - cereal mixed with Stage 2 Fruit (1/2 jar) 10-11:30 Nap 11:30 AM- 6-7 oz bottle 1:30 PM- Stage 2 veggie & other 1/2 Fruit 2-4 PM - Nap 5:30 PM - 1/2 catnap 6:30 PM - Bath 7PM - 6-7 oz Bottle 7:30 Bedtime
I just can't see where I would fit in a 3rd time to give him solids and truthfully he doesn't seem hungry and will not eat if he is too tired.
Should I cut out a bottle?
TIA!!

Re: 7-8 month old feeding schedule help
I'd stick a solid feeding in at around 4:30-5:00 pm even if it is just a snack - like 1/2 a fruit.
At that age, I don't think I would drop a bottle, but I might try decreasing the ounces to 6 - 7 oz. in each bottle and see if that makes him more receptive to the solids. I think I read somewhere that they should have at least 18 oz. per day, but I might run that by your ped to make sure.
