Hey thanks for checking in and reaching out! We are in a waiting process to see if his helmet will be approved with the insurance. This has been going on for a few weeks now. We are in the middle of an appeal, hopefully we find out this week!

Oh yeah fun right? So update on insurance company they don’t cover cranial helmets which suck! So out of pocket it is. Helmets cost between 3,000 and 5,000
But he does need this and we know it will help so we are going to pay for it. Anyways I will check in again once we get it and let you guys know how it’s going. Thank you all!

Re: 8/8- update on MemorialDayBride12
Gtf outta here!!
Go gather info online and print it out and fax it to them along with a letter of medical necessity. Try again that's a Huge amount of money!!
It's not like it's gonna be worn once or twice this is something he will use every single day
I hate dealing with insurance companies

Re: 8/8- update on MemorialDayBride12
hi-- i wasnt on while out on maternity leave. i am really glad to hear he doesnt need surgery.
i dont know if this works for your situation, but when we needed something my insurance didnt cover, we picked up DW insurance as well. we had to wait until the open enrollment and keep it for a year but it was worth it for our situation.

Re: 8/8- update on MemorialDayBride12
My son finally got his helmet on April 27th!! It was a little bit of an adjustment. He definitely didn’t like wearing this helmet for 23 hours of the day! But after a few days he is getting used to it. I can’t believe that in a few weeks the babies will be one! So many emotions. Soooo happy and excited and then yet, all I can think about it the one we lost. They aren’t just the twins, they will always be the triplets. I will still honor him by placing third birthday candles on the cake to honor and remember him.
