Re: 8-9 month old feeding schedules
Well, here's the general timeline of Ava's day.
6amish 4-5oz. bottle
8amish-4-5tbsp. cereal and some cut up fruit mixed in. (we don't measure fruit)
10-11amish-3-4oz. bottle
12:30ish-4-5tbsp. cereal, some cut up fruit or some sweet potatoes (again, we don't measure sweet potatoes, but if I had to guess, maybe 1/4 of a large one)
3:30pmish-4-5oz. bottle
5:30pm-a bowl of chicken (probably a small sized breast smaller than my palm, but I make it in bulk, so I don't know for sure), and veggies.
6:45pm-ish 4-5oz. formula

i feel like i'm back on a bfing schedule, her eating every 2 hours ...
on AVERAGE:
7am - 6 oz bottle 9am - 2 tblspns cereal, 3-4 tblspns fruit 11am - 6 oz bottle 1pm - 2 tblspns cereal, 2 tblspns veggie, 2 tblspns fruit 3pm - 6 oz bottle 5pm - 4 tblspns veggie, 2 tblspns fruit 7pm - 6 oz bottle
she eats like a bird but is gaining lots of weight . will be starting meats soon
But at least she is drinking 6 ounces at every bottle.

Re: 8-9 month old feeding schedules
Wake 4-6 oz bottle
9:00 Breakfast 5 tbsp cereal and one jar stage 2 fruit
12:00 lunch of 5 tbsp cereal and 1/2 jar stage 2 veg and 1/2 stage 2 fruit or dessert
3pm bottle of 4-6oz
5pm dinner of cereal same as above and 1/2 jar stage 2 dinner and 1/2 jar of either veg or dessert depending on teh contents of the dinner mix
Bed 8pm bottle which lately she'll only take 1 or 2 oz of
ETA Ellie prefers food to bottles so we're going with the flow b/c she'll eat a ton but will drink very little no matter how much she eats.

Re: 8-9 month old feeding schedules
8:30 a.m. - wake and 6-oz. bottle
9:30-10 a.m. (breakfast) - cereal with 1 jar stage 2 fruit or a Yobaby yogurt. I do not measure cereal.
1 p.m. (lunch) - she's eating table food, so we have introdcued grilled cheese in small pieces, pastina, etc. and she'll get 1/2 fruit and 1/2 veggie
2:30 p.m. - 6-oz. bottle
6:30 p.m. (dinner) - Stage 3 jar of dinner food or 1 Stage 2 veggie mixed with 1 jar meat. And some table food, whatever we eat.
8:30 - 6-oz. bottle and bed
ETA: she eats Cheerios and puffs all day long sometimes! And she loves Wagon Wheels and the Gerber Biter biscuits too.

Ali has been eating the Gerber Puffs and Cheerios since she was 6 months old. And she only had to the 2 bottom teeth. Actually - lately these are the only things that I can get her to eat - but she has been eating them whole since we started giving them to her. Some mothers on here last week, recommended maybe giving them pieces of it to see how they babies can actually chomp them up with there teeth and gums. Also - it doesn't matter if they have teeth or not - it is the gums that mash them up.
You can give him anything you want. Ali has been eating little pieces of apples, peaches, bananas, pasta, bread. Anything she can pick up on her own - she loves to feed herself.

I think i'm going to give it a try. Is it ok though that he's still getting pureed food at this stage?
I couldn't find your post by the way...
