Question about age for having children

I'm doing an interesting project for one of my summer classes, and it led to an interesting insight about the age at which individuals have children.

For the purposes of this poll, 31 is the magic number.

Did you have children, or were you expecting your first child, at the age of 31?

If you could also respond with your level of education, and whether or not you participated in a gifted education program as a child, that would also be an interesting bit of information to include (it's what my *limited* research was based on).

I answered yes, I did have my first child by the age of 31. I have a BA and I was in a gifted program in school.

I have a masters in education. And a ba in psych. I had my 1st child at 30. Not in a gifted program at school

I'm unsure if my response is helpful since I am not 31 yet, but here it is:

I am 30. I have no intentions of having or expecting a child at 31. I have my MA; yes, I was in a gifted program as a child.

ETA: I went to Catholic school, but I was bused to a public school for the gifted program. In high school, I was in all honors and AP.

I turned 31 3 weeks after my first was born and was still 31 when number 2 was conceived.

I have a bachelors degree and I chose not to be in the gifted program.

I'm not yet 31 (30), I had my first at 27 and my 2nd is due in 8 weeks.

I have a masters degree, and I went to a private school but I tested and was accepted to a gifted program in high school.

No gifted education as a child
Got my Masters at 26 and had my 1st at 27 and 2nd a month after I turned 30.

I basically put my education 1st but then waited to put my career 1st.

Had my one and only at 37.

My school did not have a gifted program but I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA and attended college on a full academic scholarship.

I'll be 35 in a few days and have no kids. I have a BA and was in the gifted programs in elementary and junior high school and took AP classes in high school.

i had my one and only child at 21.

at the time, my education was: college dropout.

No kids at age 31. (Actually, that was my age when I met DH.)

I have a BA in English, MA in English Ed, MA in Literacy Ed.

Was not in the gifted program (and still bitter at being overlooked. )

First child I was 29. I have a BA and a masters degree. I was in honors classes JHS-HS.

I had my (only) dd at 30. I have a BA and a BS (double major) and went to Catholic school where there was no gifted program. I took some honors/AP classes in hs though, not sure if that counts.

I was 28 when I had my first, had just turned 31 when I had my second.
I have a bachelors in journalism.
Was not in a gifted program.

I didn't want to have kids before 35 . I got pregnant on the first try at 35. Gave birth at 36.

I dont remember my school even having a gifted program to be honest

Masters in 2013 plus post graduate work now. today is my 28th birthday and I will have my twins while I'm 28, they were conceived when I was 27. I went to private school so there was no gifted program but I was in honors classes
