I'm not sure. I see both sides of the issue. My faith is a guiding factor for me.

Not for those voters who are pro-life. Here on LI it may seem like everyone is pro-choice but that is not the case in many parts of the country.

Totally understand. But I truly feel that religion is personal and so is the choice to have an abortion. Whether you want it or need it medically.
if you don't believe in it (not you - the General you) don't have one. But your belief shouldn't take that right away from someone who doesn't have the same belief.

100%
And I am with quasi3 on the faith part. I would never have an abortion and I always knew that as a teen etc., but I don't believe that right should be taken away from any woman.

I hear where you're coming from, but wouldn't this be true for every other issue that differs from your opinion? it doesn't matter if it's a religious belief, or a moral belief?

One of the many reasons I'd never vote for her is her pro-abortion stance. I'm shocked by how many people are ok with it.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
I have a better understanding of partial birth abortion now. I thought she explained it well and what a horrific decision it must be.
Interesting that Trump saws Obama sucks but points out how successful Obama has been at deporting people. IIRC he has deported more people that GWB.

I'm glad she talked about it and wish she was able to elaborate more. It's really not what people think it is. There was an article I read about a woman in Texas who was forced to carry her already deceased baby until she went into labor because of the laws in Texas. Horrendous.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
Not for anything but I wouldn't want to live in a country where I didn't have the right to a safe, legal abortion if I so chose. Before it was legal, abortion still existed in this country. You will never get rid of it no matter what. It was just done illegally and unsafely

Someone very close to me had to do this. Over 7 years ago. It was heart breaking and still is. i couldn't imagine facing something like this (life threatening) and the law telling me I can't.
I'm infertile and 100% stand by a woman's right to choose.

Completely agree. And to force a woman to carry an already deceased fetus to term because it's too late? Cruel.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
Question - because I honestly dont know - is it legal to get an elective abortion in month 7/8/9 if there is NOT a medical issue (health of mother, baby cant survive, etc)?

The question was about appointing SCOTUS judges. He said he would appoint 3 that oppose R v W. Then he said it would be up to the States but when asked again he said he would support overturning R v W if judges did
