Never? I have met people who have had multiple abortions. It's a piece of cake for them, a way instead of USING birth control. Plenty of people think it's nothing at all, so yeah, a good thing they can do after the fact of being very careless (again for those who have had multiple abortions and not yet learned to use BIRTH CONTROL).
No, I have never met anyone who's had multiple abortions. I've never met anyone who's "yay abortion." And while I think that kind of attitude is disgusting, it doesn't mean I think the government should force women to carry pregnancies to term.

And do you want those women to be parents???
Absolutely not. It's called adoption. For the millions of people who wish they could be so lucky creating a human life.
There are a tremendous amount of children awaiting adoption. The red tape for people to adopt a child is incredible.
Also, birth control needs to be accessible. The majority of what Planned Parenthood does is providing affordable birth control, but unfortunately as funding is cut, there are less Planned Parenthoods.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
Did anyone just hear that?
She took a dig at him, just like they've both been doing on and off for months.
He literally interrupted her and said "She's such a nasty woman."
This is just ONE of the MILLION things wrong with him.
There are people who think THIS man should represent our interests and positions with other countries when he can't resist interrupting a woman who has the floor?

Babies, in the US, awaiting adoption or do you refer to older children? Because anyone I know who wanted to adopt would scoop up an infant in a heart beat, despite the bio mother's situation.

Do you know what happens to the children born under circumstances where the mother did not care about them inutero? Check adoptuskids.org and tell me how adoptable those children are. Please. I hate how flippant people are about adoption .

I know all about babies born to parents who did not care for them in utero. I have 3 friends who have adopted children of drug addicts or got horrible prenatal care. Do you have any friends who adopted children that were born to drug addicted mothers?

These people aren't having multiple failed birth controls. They are using abortion as birth control. Those are the only people I refer to with my above statement.

I wish they talked more about the major nightmare that is Obamacare.
I agree, I'd love to hear how Obamacare can be reformed so that those of us who once had good and reasonably priced healthcare may go back to that. I also would love to hear how everyone who makes under $125k will get free college...every time she says that I have to laugh aloud.....how unrealistic is that!?

Yes. And I hate how flippant people are about carrying a baby for 9 months too. Oh you were raped? Justt carry the baby for 9 months as a constant reminder of the horror you went through. Then go through labor and delivery. Thrn you can give the baby up for adoption. Easy peasy. Please.

As I said above, I think there should be exceptions and there should also be limitations of term of the fetus of when an abortion can be performed. I was responding to people who make it sound so nonchalant.

I could not find statistics regarding babies vs. older children, but I don't think that should matter. According to UNICEF the total number of children in orphanages worldwide is between 140-210 million. By saying that anyone would scoop up an adorable infant in a heartbeat, you're disregarding a tremendous amount of children growing up in a foster system or orphanage in deplorable conditions. They were not aborted, they are here already.

Just like you make adoption, especially that of a special needs child, so nonchalant. Adoption can be a beautiful thing but it is not the Holy Grail, just one CHOICE in the whole big picture.

What about women who are drug addicts, incest, rape? What about young teenagers who get pregnant? Should the be forced to carry a child while they are still children themselves?
I did not refer to those senarios. I only referred to people who have multiple abortions. I do think there should be exceptions and also, limitations based on term of the fetus.
That's the problem with out lawing abortion we just don't know everyone's situation. It should not be the government's place to force someone to give birth to a baby. Abortion will always happen whether it's illegal or not. We should be increase spending on plan parenthood and sex education in this country to try to prevent unwanted pregnancies but the right will never go for that.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
Non chalant? Take a look at some of your comments. You dont know what a person life is like that may be thinking about having an abortion. We get it.....you don't agree with abortion. Don't have one but it doesn't mean we all have to agree with what you feel is right. Not every child that is given up for adoption is adopted. That's great you know people who have either been adopted or have adopted but for each of those type of stories there are plenty of kids that grow up in foster care.
