Not for anything but I wouldn't want to live in a country where I didn't have the right to a safe, legal abortion if I so chose. Before it was legal, abortion still existed in this country. You will never get rid of it no matter what. It was just done illegally and unsafely
Yes There was an HBO movie about it a million years ago that I will never get out of my head
Was that the one with Cher? I personally wouldn't have an abortion but I would never vote to take that right away from another person. If you don't believe in it you don't have to have to do it.

Question - because I honestly dont know - is it legal to get an elective abortion in month 7/8/9 if there is NOT a medical issue (health of mother, baby cant survive, etc)?
I'm not sure either. Maybe it's a state by state thing but hillary did say she wouldn't oppose regulation that did allow for the health of the mother being an exception.

I'm infertile and 100% stand by a woman's right to choose.
I have always been very pro choice and if anything, my journey with infertility only strengthened it. Reproductive choice is not just about abortion but the right to make decisions and have options when it comes to every aspect of it. Limiting our rights with abortion is a very slippery slope to limits on types and who gets to pursue fertility treatments.

Final Presidential Debate
Hey Trump, why don't you get your bigoted terminology in check? "Hambre" translates to hungry..... And it happens to be a word that you don't pluralize. Ever. IDIOT.

That is my take as well. It should not be up to the government. Ever. And no one is "pro-abortion"- I have never met anyone who thinks it's a good thing. It's about whether or not you get to make a decision about your body, or a government (which is still run mostly by old white men.)

Yikes re: Roe v Wade
That alone may have just won it for her
I'm not sure. I see both sides of the issue. My faith is a guiding factor for me.
Totally understand. But I truly feel that religion is personal and so is the choice to have an abortion. Whether you want it or need it medically.
if you don't believe in it (not you - the General you) don't have one. But your belief shouldn't take that right away from someone who doesn't have the same belief.
For me, it has nothing to do with religion or faith or God at all. No one would say the same that we should mind our own business if a mother killed her newborn but because of the baby's location and the fact he or she is less developed physically, it's ok? Nope. You were the same person before birth. I've actually watched a first, second, and third trimester abortion and after seeing exactly what takes place, there is no doubt a baby is being killed. Watch it so you are informed about what you're speaking of and tell me otherwise. The means are truly barbaric as well. And people condone this as choice. In this day and age. The world is batshit crazy.

I have zero interest in watching abortions at any stage of pregnancy. I wouldn't get an abortion (unless medically necessary) but because I won't, doesn't mean another woman cannot.
Everyone believes differently. Which is why it's a choice to the individual.
I respect your opinion

Whoa. We aren't talking about eating potato chips. We are talking about human lives and for an unborn child/fetus, yes, people will speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Re: Final Presidential Debate
Posted by MrsProfessor And no one is "pro-abortion"- I have never met anyone who thinks it's a good thing. It's about whether or not you get to make a decision about your body, or a government (which is still run mostly by old white men.)
Never? I have met people who have had multiple abortions. It's a piece of cake for them, a way instead of USING birth control. Plenty of people think it's nothing at all, so yeah, a good thing they can do after the fact of being very careless (again for those who have had multiple abortions and not yet learned to use BIRTH CONTROL).

Absolutely not. It's called adoption. For the millions of people who wish they could be so lucky creating a human life.

What about women who are drug addicts, incest, rape? What about young teenagers who get pregnant? Should the be forced to carry a child while they are still children themselves?

Again, this is where personal opinions come into play. Would I rather babies be killed because their biological mothers may not be able to keep them safe in utero?
There are plenty of women who get pregnant, disregard all safety concerns for their fetus and still have healthy babies. There are plenty of women who use drugs and abuse their bodies, and the babies they create may pay a price. But someone out there would love to love them. Happens every day. I know 2 people personally who adopted babies whose mothers were on crack, and they might have some delays or issues, but they are in very well loved families and very happy children.

I did not refer to those senarios. I only referred to people who have multiple abortions. I do think there should be exceptions and also, limitations based on term of the fetus.
