OMG this just made me well up because my aunt did the same thing for my brother and I when we were kids (sadly my guardian filled to get us back with in DAYS of us being placed) but it touched my heart in a way I can never describe what she did. She and I still have an amazing bond because of this. Overall we lived with her 9mos before we were placed back and it was so profound it changed my life. I graduated from high school because of her, I stayed away from drugs because of her, I went the right path because of the impact she had on my life and to think you are going to have the same on AJ's life makes me think you must be an Angel. Many prayers that he is with you for his birthday. Many prayers that he is with you for the rest of his life. Many prayers that he truly see's the gift you have given him. Congrats on being a Foster Mother.

Congrats on this and keep up with the good work.
My father actually adopted my twin brothers and sister when I was 15. Took us two years and they were technically my stepmother's grandchildren. I agree with PP. You are changing a life for the better. Its just WONDERFUL that you are offering this to AJ.
(PS love the name  ha)

That is so great that you had such an awesome aunt who was a good influence in your life.
My mom had passed away when I was young and our family immediately stepped in and took me and my sister in. We may have moved from aunt and uncles from time to time. But I cant imagine what my life would've been like if we didnt have family that made sure we stood together.
