Re: 90-Square Foot Home
I could do it if I were single and always working a lot. I love smaller homes. I am surprised it's legal though without a real kitchen or anything....

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
Wow I think its amazing how she has everything so organized. While $700 is a lot for basically renting a room, I think its a small amount to pay for peace of mind which seems to be what she wants. A small simple way of living.

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
Im sorry, but that is TERRIBLE! You couldnt pay me to live in a space that small... Like to not even have a kitchen to cook meals the normal way? Talk about utilizing space in that building!!!

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
One of my bathrooms (which I plan on making bigger in the relatively near future) is bigger than 90 s/f!

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
She would be better off renting and living in a storage unit. Cheaper too!

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
I just keep wondering ... how do you date when you live like that? How do you bring someone back to your apartment ... to spend the night? HOW?

Re: 90-Square Foot Home
I have seen some small apts in NY-- but that is the smallest!
When I was i my studio, it was like 400 sq feet-- I had "two" rooms (bedroom and LR), separate kitchen and bathroom, one closet and it was rent stabilized. I lived there for 6 yrs before moving in with DH and it never went above $1100 with the rent increases. Although it was a while ago...
$700 seems like a lot for that-- I don't care what the location is. Esp looks like a walk up with no doorman.

Haha - that's all I kept thinking about too.
How could you have ANYONE over? I don't care what she said, that's not "cozy".
