99.7 low grade fever or not???
DD has had a mild cough nothing that seems to bother her the past two days and sneezing, she also had disrupted sleep a few days before but now fine...she today pulled on her ears a few times, but not incessantly! She seems in very very good spirits, but had a 99.7 temp today the last few days it was normal 98.6 or so...
I had thought it was teething bc she keeps putting her finger in her mouth and pressing down on her gums....do you think its teething or a possible ear infection...oy...
Either way I think I'm going to take her to the ped tomorrow, but what do you guys think it is..she's honestly in great spirits nothing seems to be bother her.... she's also drooling a lot more than normal which could attest for the cough....

See I think so too, but associated with everything, and her temp being normal the past few days I'm just totally anal...

It sounds to me like teething - but you are also talking to a mother who maybe took his temp once the first year.
If you are concerned bring her to the ped.

I hear that! If my kid sneezes she's like "Bring him to the ped now - at 11pm on a Saturday night!"

I would take her tomorrow to see the Ped, just so you can ease your mind and know what it is.
I'll be going to my Peds tomorrow too for my little baby (just put up a post of 101 fever)

Re: 99.7 low grade fever or not???
I dont think it's anything, probably teething.
DD has had that temp, esp when active. And since she's teething, she's been pulling on her ears alot and the dr checked her ears and said htey are perfect, it's just teething.
HTH
But go if it makes you feel better.

Re: 99.7 low grade fever or not???
My pediatrician considers a fever anything above 100.4. Technically, 98.6 is normal, but a baby's temperature fluctuates throughout the day. I don't think she has a fever, but I hope she feels ok.
