scary!! and no flames here either.
But I WAS vaccinated againt it, and still got it at age 3....so The vaccine is not fail proof. Investigation showed parts of my vaccine were outdated and uneffective.

My 4yo niece got it in June and 3 weeks ago (4 months later) I witnessed an episode and it was the scariest thing I have ever seen. Her lips actually turn blue because she can't breathe and my SIL said it was not the worst episode she's seen. She said it can last for a year and resurface everytime she gets a cold. She was vaccinated against it but the ped said there's less cocooning going on with less children vaccinated so she still got it.

my goodness...that is VERY scary!
And even more scary to learn that the vaccinations isn't foolproof.
