A good home made icing recipe for sugar cookies please
I want to make sugar cookies and decorate them for Thanksgiving. Last year I tried this but the icing I made just slid off the cookies. can someone recommended a good icing that I guess hardens up well.

Royal icing is the best for that. If you buy Wilton meringue powder, there's a great recipe in there for the icing.
